NOT Weather resistant, January 23, 2012 By  Richard Tavis (Greenville, SC) - See all my reviews    This review is from: Achla Designs Storage Bench (Lawn & Patio) This bench looked great for a couple of weeks before turning gray. The real problem was that it swelled with the rain so the bench wouldn't open. I tried sanding it down so that it would work but it just kept swelling. The seat started to come apart and I gave up. I bought Teak oil and it temporarily helps the wood color, but the swelling problem persisted. Fine for a covered porch but DO NOT leave this out in the elements. It's a good looking bench, very comfortable to sit on and has a nice amount of storage space. It arrived within days of ordering and was quick and easy to assemble.
