I did expect that they would arrive assembled, and when we got a box of pieces, it was unexpected. However, they are not too difficult to put together, and so far we really like them. Beautiful color, solid but lightweight materials, few parts to assemble 2. Easily assembled, with no wobble (don't tighten anything until the end) 3. Wide seat, wide back - this will comfortably seat the largest guest. Cons: 1. 80 cents and one trip to the hardware store The first chair assembled easily, but in the 2nd chair, the short bolt would not reach the threads of the hole in the leg. I took the washer out, tried loosening everything else, but nothing. So I ended up going to the hardware store, buying a longer M6 bolt with thick washers and *fixed* the chair. It's not pretty - the brown plastic caps don't fit - but the chair is assembled and stable. 2. No arms? The second pair of chairs arrives and I'm unpacking when I realize I'm missing the arms. Seller had no right arms left to send out as a replacement part. This meant I had to pack up both chairs for return/refund from Amazon or take a %20 percent discount. For several reasons returning the chairs was just not practical for me. I opted to order another set of chairs and hope they are complete or can be made complete with parts from the incomplete chair. I had ordered the set (table, umbrella, stand, 4 chairs) as a gift for elderly parents. I would not recommend the set be purchased by anyone who would find such a return challenging. |
