I GOT MY UNBRELLA FOR 1/3 OF THE COST ADVERTISED IN LOCAL SALE ADDS Cantilever 10' Umbrella 10'diameter Smoke. WE HAVE A SMALL DECK AND I WAS AFRAID THAT IT MAY BE TOO BIG, BUT IT'S PERFECT. IT COVERS 90% OF THE DECK AND IS A GREAT DEAL CHEAPER THAN A RETRACTABLE AWNING. WE CAN SIT ON THE DECK IN THE EVENINGS AFTER WORK WITHOUT HAVING THE AFTERNOON SUN BLINDING US. MY SWEETHEART ATTACHED IT TO THE FLOOR, (THERE ARE HOLE FOR THAT PURPOSE IN THE FEET OF THE STAND), OF THE DECK WHICH KEEPS IT STEADY AND FROM FLYING AWAY. It easily lets sun and rain go through. It is completely useless. If you make the mistake of buying it anyway and regret, remember: keep your box to send it back. Or you will have to search through town a box big enough and expensive enough to hold it, once you will have been able to unmount the whole umbrella. It is a nightmare. Besides the company doesn't carry other umbrellas that would be opaque, so you can not exchange it.....! I will never buy umbrellas online again. The old one broke in the storm, and I made this huge mistake.
